Sometimes being it is hard to keep the motivation up when you are at work, especially if you have been working for a company for so long. This is okay! Every once and a while there needs to be something extra to work for besides a pay check! If there is something extra that can be achieved it will definitely up the workers games. Just adding the ability to be awarded can get your company moving again, and get people excited about work again.

There also needs to be awards for those who are constantly doing an outstanding job at work. It is important to show people how much they really are appreciated for doing everything they do! It can give anyone that extra boost of confidence they need to keep going.

Adults don’t need to receive the typical classic gold trophy either. We have so many beautiful, elegant crystal trophies that can be engraved accordingly to make winning that trophy even more special. This Omni Globe is one of our most beautiful trophies. It is not your every day trophy and will look amazing in any office. We also have so many more styles of crystal awards that can be custom engraved.

Inspire and encourage aspirations with trophies

first, second, and third place medals Trophies, whether they are awarded for academic, athletic, or other reasons, have the ability to encourage and motivate the recipients to aspire to learn more, do more, and be more. For schools in particular, award ceremonies during which trophies and even medals and ribbons are handed out is, without a doubt, probably the most looked-forward-to ceremonies of the school year.

If you’re wondering how you can motivate your students to set higher goals, and then work hard to achieve them, consider what you can give recognition for:

  • good grades
  • high test scores
  • significant improvements
  • perfect attendance
  • sports-related team wins
  • community service

Use trophies to recognize first and perhaps second place winners, and medals and/or ribbons for third and fourth place, as well as honorary mentions.

Top School Trophies

Can you believe that it’s almost the end of another school year? March is nearing its end, and the “100th Day of School” was celebrated months ago. Graduation invitations are already being mailed out and kids are working on plans for summer–whether that includes a summer job, a family vacation, or a fun sport or activity.

The end of the school year is a perfect time to reflect on what was learned and accomplished. It’s a big deal to do well in school, and we think that academic achievements should be celebrated!

We have some fantastic school-related trophies here at Trophy Central.

Here are some of our top school trophies:

1. This is a classic lamp of knowledge and learning. It represents academic excellence in schools all around the world. This particular trophyA comes with a marble base and free engraving. It is the perfect trophy for a team or individual award for younger children. It measures approximately 4″ tall and its versatility makes it extremely popular.

2. As we mentioned before, graduation is quickly approaching. We are super excited for the class of 2014 and wish them all luck on the exciting and upcoming journey into the real world! A graduation trophy is a great way to remember accomplishments in high school and awarded at graduation time (such as graduating with honors). This trophy is part of out Resin Trophy Series and is made of sculptured resin and is hand painted and lacquered. This comes with three lines of engraving and can be ordered with a male or female figurine.

3. This is another popular one for us. Although not a traditional trophy, this honor student medal is very popular. It has a colorful insert and gold frame. You are able to have optional engraving on the back for just $0.69. Additional customization options include the choice of ribbon type and color , whether or not you want the ribbon attached, and if you’d like to order a box to go with it. Report cards come out soon, so get yours in time to reward those with the grades to qualify as an honor student!

Host a budget-friendly awards ceremony

An awards ceremony doesn’t have to break the bank in order to appropriately acknowledge and honor recipients of awards. Prioritize the value of the trophies you’ll be giving to the recipients, and then focus on being frugal with the rest of the ceremony. Here are some tips to help you make the most of your ceremony, without going over your budget:

Use a school gymnasium, a church basement, or even a public park or a volunteer’s backyard to save on the cost of a rental.

Make the awards ceremony a potluck event! Potluck never goes out of style, and many attendees will be excited at the prospect of sharing their favorite recipes and home-cooked creations with others. Or, create a food list and ask attendees to volunteer either an item on the list, or money to cover the cost of purchasing that item.

Instead of hiring a professional band or DJ, check around in school and in your community for aspiring artists. You may be able to retain their services for free, or for a very low fee.

We really enjoy spring here at Trophy Central. It’s a great time of year for many reasons, but our favorite is the awesome spring sports that can be played. Below you’ll find a “Top Ten” list with our favorite spring sports (complete with links to the trophies we have available for those sports).

Motion Extreme 500 Series Trophy. It has a gold resin base and qualifies for free engraving!

1. Baseball–Of course baseball has to be number one! It’s America’s pastime and definitely the classic sport that comes to mind when you think spring. We can almost taste the Cracker Jacks….

This makes a great team, championship or perpetual trophy. It has a double cherry wood base and enough room for up to 32 names!

3. Track–This is a sport in and of itself, but it also a great way to train and stay in shape for other sports. The skills that are developed from the different track events are beneficiary in all aspects. You can also decide from a number of events to find what you’re good at–if long distance isn’t your forte, try out shorter, quicker distances and vice versa. Let’s not forget about the relays and how fun and exciting those are to watch!

4. Softball–If you’re a fan of baseball, then you probably love softball, too. There are just a couple of differences between the two sports, but otherwise they’re pretty similar. This is a great team sport to play and is equally fun to participate in competitively or just for fun!

This “Flames” Trophy has a marble base and is available for engraving of up to three lines. Bonus: this is a “quick ship” item!

5. Volleyball–This is typically a fall sport when played in a traditional gymnasium, but it turns into a sport for spring and summer when the game is taken out to the sand. If you’ve played both in the sand and in a gym, than you know how different the two can be. Personally, we think that it’s a lot more fun to play in the sand but that it creates a bit of a challenge when moving and jumping! The sand adds to the work-out, so it’s pretty beneficial.

This is a Bobble Head Trophy that also has slots for coins and can be used as a bank. Perfect for kids, this trophy is going to be a great hit!

6. Soccer–According to Sporteology, soccer is the most popular sport in the world so of course it made our “Top Ten” list. Soccer is fun to watch and play and in other areas of the world it is sometimes called “football”. Are you one of the 3.5 billion soccer fans in the world? We are!

8. Curling–This is quickly becoming a popular sport, so get ready to see a lot more of it in the near future! If you’re unfamiliar with it, the sport involves sliding granite stones on a sheet of ice towards and area of four concentric circles, with points awarded according to where the stones land in relation to the center. Although this is played on ice, it can be played year-round indoors. If you’re looking for a fun, new spring sport to take up, look for a curling center in your area!
